Jo Glasser

Jo Glasser has been involved in social justice and advocacy for more than fifteen years, focusing particularly in the areas of health care, immigration, the environment,  poverty, and animal rights .  Her professional background includes experience as a healthcare executive and project manager, leadership development consultant, and college instructor.  She has taught and written about conflict management, teamwork, quality improvement, and bereavement.

An ordained Episcopal deacon, Glasser has served congregations in western and northwestern Wisconsin. She is presently the Archdeacon of the Diocese of Eau Claire.  She is active in mission projects locally and in Haiti, and in developing programs for spiritual formation.  She writes seasonal meditations and a blog on practical Christianity at www.joglasser.com.  Married to a retired physician, she enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren and three cats, as well as music, gardening, and travel.
