Stesha Colby-Lynch is a Marine veteran and author of No One Leaves Unscathed: A Woman in the Marine Corps. Before writing her own book, parts of her story appeared in Voices of America: Veterans and Military Families Tell Their Own Stories, edited by April Brown and Ethan Casey, and Stories From the Front: Pain, Betrayal, and Resilience on the MST Battlefield by Lisa Carrington Firmin.

Colby-Lynch is an avid supporter of veterans in higher education and currently serves as the Director of Veterans Services for Stephen F. Austin State University. After leaving the Marines in 2010, she used the GI Bill at Texas Christian University and has been working in higher education ever since.

She lives in Nacogdoches, Texas with her husband Sean and their pack of dogs: Greyson, Hercules, and the twins, Annie and Augie. She loves traveling with friends, hiking with her pack, paddle boarding, and anything else in the outdoors except rock climbing.
